As the portraits are highly detailed, it's important that your photos are high quality photographs to work from. Details in the photos and multiple photos are helpful to reflect the personality and likeness of the subject. The better the photo is, the better your picture will turn out. Make sure your photographs are in focus and have good lighting and coloring. Pictures from phones can be used.

There are multiple sizes available depending what medium your artwork will be created in and the look you are going for. If it is a pencil drawing (colored or black and white) sizes can go from 8" X 10" to 18" X 24". Digital paintings or acrylic paintings can range from 8" X 10" to 20" X 30". Airbrush paintings or water color paintings have flexibility from 8" X 10" to 18" X 24". Murals are also available as requested and quoted based on size and subject.

Prices range depending on the medium used and size of the finished piece. Once Melinda receives your photograph via email, she will discuss with you the size and medium you want. She will give you a quote based on the amount of time it will take. In order to get a quote, email the photograph(s) you are interested in having done to portraitsbymela@gmail.com and Melinda will get back to you within 48 hours.

Shipping is based on size and weight and will be determined after a project has been quoted and a medium has been picked. Shipping is additional on top of the quoted price. If the artwork is done on a piece of paper, it will be mailed in a tube. If the artwork is done on a canvas, it will be shipped in a box. Typically the carrier is USPS but the best choice (depending on delivery timeline) will be chosen for each project.
